Senior Privacy Analyst
- Under the direction of the CES Privacy Officers, this position supports privacy operations and compliance activities
- This position requires the ability to learn quickly, understand technical environments, and work in a cross-functional environment where compliance functions meet technology, data, and legal requirements
- The majority of your work will be centered around identifying and mitigating privacy-related risks at BYU and other CES institutions by conducting assessments with department leaders, system owners and custodians, and vendors. You will also spend time addressing privacy related requests or concerns from the campus community and past visitors, customers, students and employees
Linux Applications Support Engineer / HPC Computational Scientist
- Computational Scientists help enable research at BYU. The employee will assist faculty and student researchers from many disciplines in training, application installation, code and workflow optimization, batch job management, and general troubleshooting
- Research projects on our systems are very diverse; projects include materials science, computational fluid dynamics, genomics, molecular dynamics, astrophysics, economics simulations, and many others
- The ideal candidate has the desire to move research forward at the university by utilizing their solid programming background, ability to communicate clearly with others, and ability to work through complex technical problems with people who may or may not be tech-savvy
